Our graduates combine technical expertise with industry knowledge to analyze, design, and optimize systems in many sectors of the economy including business, energy, healthcare, and mobility.

This endowed fund was established to honor the legacy of Walton M. Hancock, former chair and professor of Industrial and Operations Engineering, and associate dean of the College of Engineering. This fund provides support for graduate-level students in Industrial and Operations Engineering and helps to attract highly qualified students to our top-ranked program.
